transport bag
The invention relates to a flexible transport bag for transporting granular, liquid, viscous or semi-liquid materials.
From the prior art flexible transport bags (so-called big bags) for transporting and stacking pourable substances, powders, liquids, fluids, semi-liquid, viscous and other materials are known.
WO 2013/135520 discloses a large-volume packaging container for stacking and transporting thermoplastic materials, in particular bitumen. The container has a bottom panel and a container shell connected to the bottom panel, the container shell being composed of wall panels. The wall panels are made of flexible material, in particular of flat or round fabric, of synthetic fibers such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), or biodegradable natural fibers. Preferably, in its interior is a coating of PP or PE material. The container casing is constricted in its lower half in the region of the bottom. This minimizes the expansion of the container in the filled state. Above the constricted point, the circumference of the container widens again, however, in order to rejuvenate in the direction of the container top. For this reason, the diameter of the container reduces with increasing height. This specially shaped sidecut of the container minimizes the lateral bulging of the container in the lower part of the overall height. However, it has been found that the expansion of the filled material in the upper area of the container can lead to balance problems. In particular, the stacking of containers is hampered by the upward converging shape of the container. If such transport bags are to be stacked in restricted, box-shaped spaces such as shipping containers, the buckling in the lower area, and the constriction in the upper area of the transport bags leads to stability problems.
The object of the present invention is to overcome these problems and to provide a new transport bag, which is particularly suitable to optimally use the limited space available in confined spaces such as shipping containers. The transport bag should be stable against the hydrodynamic pressure from the inside and keep its shape and stability as far as possible even in the presence of external forces. It should be suitable for the transport and stacking of viscous or liquid materials.
This object is achieved by a transport bag having a lower part, an upper part, and side walls extending between the lower part and the upper part such that a container volume is formed in which granular, liquid, viscous or semi-liquid substances can be stored , The transport bag includes at least one reduced-circumference location extending through a central axis of the sidewall from an upper edge to a lower edge of the sidewall. As a result, a transport bag is formed whose upper and lower regions have a larger circumference than its central region, whereby the formation of bulges of the side walls after filling of the container is avoided.
According to the invention, it may be provided that the area of reduced circumference is made symmetrical with respect to the center axis of the side wall. The central axis may be the vertically extending central axis of the side wall, which extends from the upper edge to the lower edge.
According to the invention, it may further be provided that the area of reduced circumference is formed by merging two opposite vertical edges of the side wall in a concave manner.
According to the invention, it can further be provided that the vertical edges of the side wall in the region of the base and of the upper part form standing foot regions which extend at least partially flat outward. The foot portions may include a substantially right angle with the top edge and / or the bottom edge of the side wall.
According to the invention, it can further be provided that the vertical edges of the side walls are brought together to form a connecting edge, wherein a tab is formed, which is connected to the connecting edge and extends at least partially along this connecting edge.
According to the invention, it can further be provided that a carrier element is provided in the interior of the tab. This ensures that the transport bag retains its shape despite the influence of the hydrodynamic pressure forces.
According to the invention may further be provided that the carrier element is designed as a column, tube, or rod.
According to the invention, it can further be provided that the carrier element comprises or consists of a plastic-based material. This has the advantage that the carrier element can not scratch the fabric of the tab, in the upper region or in the region of the side walls. It is inventively particularly advantageous if an elastic material is selected for the carrier element, which can adapt to the pressure forces of the material inside the container.
According to the invention, it can be provided that the plastic-based material is polypropylene or polyethylene, or comprises this material.
According to the invention further tensioning strips may be provided which extend at least from one corner of the upper part to a diagonally opposite corner. The tension strips can be mounted in the upper region of the transport container.
According to the invention, it may further be provided that at least one traveler stretches is provided, which extends from a corner of the side wall in the area of the lower part to a corner of the side wall arranged diagonally opposite in the region of the upper part of the transport bag.
It may further be provided that the carrier belt is 5% to 15%, in particular 10 ^ shorter than the diagonal of the side wall. This has the advantage that the carrier belt exerts a bias against the pressure of the material inside the container, and thus counteracts the expansion of the tissue of the side wall.
According to the invention, it can further be provided that two carrier straps are provided on or in each side wall.
According to the invention may further be provided that a lifting strap is attached to the upper part of the container, wherein a lifting opening between the upper part and the lifting loop is formed.
The invention will now be further explained with reference to the following figures, which show non-exclusive embodiments:

The object of the invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments, wherein the exemplary embodiments do not limit the scope of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the transport bag 10 according to the invention, comprising a base 20 in a rectangular or preferably square shape, an upper part 30, preferably in the same size and shape as the base 20, and four side walls 40 extending between the base 20 and the Extend top 30 and define a closed volume. At the top 30 is a filler neck 31. At the junctions of the side walls 40 connecting edges 50 are formed.
Referring to FIG. 2, it can be seen that the top edges 42 and bottom edges 41 of the sidewalls 40 are substantially the same size as the side lengths of the base 20 and top 30, while the extent of the center portion is made to be less than the side length of the lower edge 41 and the upper edge 42nd
In other words, in the region of the central axis a is a narrowed portion 44 which extends to the upper edge 42 and the lower edge 41 and divides the side wall 40 into two regions in the vertical plane. In the present exemplary embodiment, the narrowed region 44 is formed by a concave constriction on both sides of the vertical edge 43. The side wall 40 thus has a shape similar to that of an hourglass, with the base and top being wide and the central region being constricted. In addition, in the present embodiment, in the region of the lower part 20 and the upper part 30 flat running foot portions 431 are formed, which are also shown in Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 shows a further side view of the transport bag, wherein the side walls 40 are connected at the lower edges 41 with the lower part 20 and at the upper edges 42 with the upper part 30, and further wherein the side walls are sewn together along the narrowed running vertical edges 43 together , The vertical edges 43 of the side walls 40 are connected to each other and define a connecting edge 50. Further, the foot portion 431 of the vertical edges 43 forms a foot-like structure in the region of the connecting edge 50. In the present embodiment of the invention, a tab 51 is provided, which is in shape a tunnel is located on the connecting edge 50 and projects into the interior of the transport bag 10. The tab 51 extends along the connecting edge 50. In other, not shown embodiments, the tab 51 extends only in a portion of the connecting edge 50, or only partially along the entire connecting edge 50. At least one support member 70 is positioned within the tab 51. This support member 70 is columnar and supports the
Shape of the transport bag 10. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the support member 70 is in one piece, in other embodiments, not shown, the support member may also be multi-piece. In the present embodiment, a tab 51 and a support member 70 are located at each of the connecting edges 50. In the present embodiment, the support member 70 is a plastic-based material tube. In other embodiments, not shown, the carrier element 70 is made of other materials, such as wood or
Metal.
In the present embodiment, at least one inner coating 60 is located inside the transport bag for sealing the transport bag.
Taking into account the above-mentioned structural features of the article according to the invention, the use of the transport bag 10 is as follows.
The liquid material to be transported or stacked is filled through the filler neck 31 into the transport bag 10. After the filling process, as shown in FIGS. 4, 4a, 4b and 4c, a substantially square cross section is achieved in the region of the lower part 20 and the upper part 30, while a cylindrical cross section is formed in the middle region as a result of the constriction of the central region becomes. In other words, due to the curved shape of the connecting edges 50, they pull the side walls 40 towards the interior of the transport bag 10. Thus, the side walls 40 are prevented from bulging outwardly after the filling operation. The central region of the transport bag 10 can therefore not bulge outwards relative to the lower part 20, and the transport bag 10 remains in an upright position. Thanks to this design, the transport bags require less space when placed side by side. The support elements 70, which are located inside the tabs 51, support the maintenance of this shape. In addition, the carrier elements 70 prevent deterioration of the balance of the transport bag 10 due to the hydrodynamic pressure forces and other forces that occur during transport of the liquid inside the transport bag 10. The carrier elements 70, which are located at the four corners of the transport bag, withstand these compressive forces and form a counter force in the opposite
Direction. This prevents the transport bag from losing its balance and falling over.
In addition, as shown in Fig. 4a, in the region of the upper part 30, tensioning strips 32 are provided which extend between the crosswise opposite corners of the upper part 30. Thanks to this tension strip 32, the bulge of the upper part 30 is reduced and the cross section of the lower part 20 and the upper part 30 are very similar.
This achieves, as shown in Fig. 6a, that the transport bags 10 can be stacked on top of each other without requiring pallets 80. In particular, since the cross sections of the lower part 20 and the upper part 30 are the same or at least similar to each other, the transport bags 10 can be stacked on each other without endangering the balance. In a further embodiment of the invention, carrier strips 45 are provided, which are fastened to the side walls 40 and extend between the upper part 30 and the lower part 20.
The carrier strips 45 extend from a corner of the base 20 to the diagonally opposite corner of the top 30. Preferably, there are two carrier strips 45 which are in a crosswise relationship to each other on each side wall 40. By the carrier strip 45, the shape deviation of the side walls 40 can be prevented.
With reference to FIGS. 5 and 6b, in another application of the present invention, the transport bag 10 is placed on a pallet 80. There are provided clamping elements 81 which extend from the four corners of the upper part 30 in the direction of the pallet 80. Through these connections, the transport bag 10 is connected to the pallet 80 in a fixed and balanced manner. In this application, it is also possible to stack the transport bags together with their pallets 80 on top of each other. As a result, the balance of the stacked transport bags 10 is increased. During stacking and transport of granular materials or similar dry flowing materials, use of the present transport bag 10 without the use of the support members 70 is possible. During transport of low viscosity materials such as liquids, it is contemplated that the transport bag 10 will have higher stiffness by use of the support members 70.
In order to facilitate the transport of the transport bag 10, at least one lifting loop 33 is provided on top of the top 30, and this lifting loop 33 is positioned to define a lifting opening 34 between itself and the top 30. In the present embodiment, the lifting loops 33 are connected to the corners of the upper 30, and extend from one corner to the other corner. Furthermore, two lifting loops 33 are provided, which are arranged parallel to each other. Thanks to the lifting loops 33, the forks of a forklift can be inserted into the lifting openings 34 to lift the transport bag 10.
The scope of the present invention is defined by the following claims, and is not limited by the described embodiments.
